Independent Chair: Moira Wilson

I am a qualified social worker and have worked in adult social care throughout my career, mainly in Yorkshire, but also in the North-West and London. I was previously Strategic Director of Adult and Community Services for Bradford Council and now work in an advisory capacity with social care and health systems to improve care and support. I am also an Independent Non-Executive Member of South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board.

As Independent Chair of RSAB, I am privileged to support multiagency partners as they work together to safeguard people who may be at risk of abuse or neglect. Through our safeguarding partnerships I am committed to ensuring that we promote independence, choice and control over the things that matter to people and their families, by including them in decision making and listening to feedback from everyone involved.
